The town of Argentat

Argentat has to be one of the prettiest small towns in the area. It is a bustling yet friendly place with a long main street and an old bridge across the river Dordogne. South of the town runs the N120 (which used to run through Argentat but is now a by-pass), so the town only has local traffic.

Most of the restaurants are situated either on the quay or near the main street in the town.
